Description

The 26WB3C is a rebottled 330 gallon IBC with a 2″ Camlock valve. Also known as an intermediate bulk container or tote, this industrial container holds the same capacity as six 55-gallon drums in less space and features a 2″ Camlock valve allowing for easy disconnect, adding to ease of use. Camlock is usually used for quick connects (like hoses), while NPT is for threaded connections. This rebottled IBC has an EPDM gasket in the discharge valve. The 26WB3C has three components: a new bottle, a reconditioned cage, and a reconditioned steel/composite pallet. The 26WB3C features a 6″ top screw cap, EPDM gaskets, and 4 HDPE corner protectors and has a UN rating of UN31HA1/Y. The placard may be plastic, metal, or corrugated cardboard, depending on material availability.

Material:

High density polyethylene (HDPE ) is the most commonly used resin. This economical plastic has good impact and chemical resistance, is naturally translucent and flexible. It is typically used for personal care products such as shampoo bottles. Adding color will give HDPE an opaque look that will result in an increase in weight and rigidness. We have a variety of these rigid and tough high density polyethylene products in stock, from containers, pails, bottles, caps, tubs and jugs. HDPE works well in below freezing temperatures. HDPE heat compatibility varies. Maximum fill temperature is generally around 171°F; however, testing is recommended with your specific product and application. Distortion occurs between 220° to 250° F.
