This tight head (closed top) steel reconditioned black 55 gallon drum is UN rated and contains an epoxy-phenolic lining. This steel drum has a black closed cover with 2″ and 3/4″ NPT Tri-Sure style plug & flange fittings, which include Buna gaskets. Perfect for the storage and shipping of hazardous materials. This drum meets strict wall thickness requirements, gauge ASTM grade carbon steel, and is tested for strength and durability. Perfect for the storage and shipping of hazardous materials. Can be used for both solids and liquids.
This drum’s UN Specifications vary based on its sourcing location:
– Most stock is rated UN1A1/Y1.6/250 for liquids.
– Stock from Charlotte, NC is rated UN1A1/Y1.4/250 for liquids.
