Description
This 275 gallon IBC tote includes a 2″ NPT valve. Also known as an intermediate bulk container, IBC tank or IBC tote, this industrial container holds the same capacity as five 55-gallon drums in less space and features a standard 2″ NPT (National Pipe Thread) threaded valve. Camlock is usually used for quick connects (like hoses), while NPT is for threaded connections. This tote has three components: a new HDPE plastic bottle, a new galvanized steel cage and a new composite (plastic and galvanized steel) pallet. New bottles are made of FDA Compliant virgin resin, appropriate for food use. This IBC features a 6″ top screw cap with a 2″ solid NPT bung in the middle and EPDM gaskets. This IBC has a UN31HA1/Y UN rating.
