Description
This unlined 30 gallon black steel drum has a white cover, sponge 7/16″ gasket, and bolt ring closure. The cover does not have any fittings. Made of dependable carbon steel, this drum is UN Rated for liquids (UN1A2/Y1.5/100) and solids (UN1A2/X250/S), excellent for the transporting hazardous materials. The 30 gallon drum meets strict wall thickness requirements, 1.1/1.1/1.1 mm (top/body/bottom) of 18 gauge carbon steel.
Bolt Ring Closures:Â A bolt ring is a closure ring that holds the cover on to the body of the container by encompassing the cover and the top of the container in a groove. This ring is then tightened by a bolt that pulls the ends of the rings together. A calibrated torque wrench is used to confirm proper closure.
